Not saying "excuse me" does seem really strange, especially when such rudeness labels one as a jerk almost anywhere in the U.S. I did find it funny that apparently old people are no frail people in Germany and will show you how assertive they really are. The example they used of being able to buy a "massive dildo" right next door to a toy shop is funny and also somewhat disturbing. Do they want their kids to grow up with sex toys being as normal as action figures? The Klofrau is an interresting concept, especially to us Americans. Someone who waits all day long in a bathroom to clean it for pocket change? Who the hell would do that for a job?
