Ich scriebe about Deutsche environmental issues. There were Artikels on Deutsche Welle. Ich lese ihr both in Deutsche and English. The Artikels were about new ways to recycle. They are trying to implement new laws on recycling old electronics. With these new laws they will be able to try and sustain Germany with the raw materials needed from their countries resources. This will lessen their need of raw materials from other countries that have a strangle hold on the industry. They are also trying to cut down on the amount of energy needed from fossil fuels. With the initiative they will fulfill 20% of the energy needs with green energy. These actions will all depend on the involvement of voters, and people stepping up and helping out. What I have learned so far about Germans I think they will do it for their liebe of the environment.

Das other Artikel was about food waste. This is a big problem in many industrialized nations.
America wastes tons of food a year. To find out Germans also have this problem. They are trying to remedy it by changing their mentality about food. They are trying to get information out about how long food is good by after the best before date. This is good practice since most food can be eaten after this date. It will also save on money if the food is not needed to be replaced after this date. I believe this is a good thing that they are looking at how we have become a throw away nation’s. We need to look at as world problem where some countries a starving from lack of nutrition. This is very interessant to mich. I can’t wait to read more about what Germany is doing in the sustainability of their country.
